Whitefish Mountain Resort

New for 2009, Whitefish Mountain Resort has added an alpine slide… a serpentine, U-shaped track much like the luge, but without the ice. Riders will take a wheeled sled up the lift, enter the track, and then careen down to the bottom as fast as they're daring enough to go.

Another new feature for 2009, is the introduction of the Big Mountain Zip Line. The new 2-hour (approximately) zip line tour will provide an unparalleled adrenaline rush, combined with an engaging interpretive tour through the forest.

There will be four separate spans connected by short walks, each with two parallel cables for dual riding action. The harnesses used are paragliding-style seat harnesses, so should be much more comfortable than rock climbing gear. Zippers can expect to reach speeds of 50 mph or more as they travel more than 100 feet above the ground on custom-made trolleys.

The summer slopes of Whitefish Mountain is also a very popular spot for both locals tourists to enjoy a splendid day hike, or mountain bike trip, a walk through the treetops, or a leisurely ride on the chairlift or gondola.

Rental Collection
WhitefishEscapes.com processes the majority of our bookings with credit card payments which is the best way to protect the booking. All processing of payments, returned deposits, cleaning fees, etc. are handled by WhitefishEscapes.com.
Monthly owner statements issued with a full accounting of receipts, expenses, and disbursements.
Net rental funds disbursed to owners in a timely manner at the end of every month.
WhitefishEscapes.com collects and pays the state taxes collected from the rental guests. The current tax rate for the State tax is 7%. A total of 7% tax is collected based on the rental rate. This service saves our property owners the hassle of paying taxes every month and we keep your account current with the county and state. Each owner is required to register with TAP in order for us to pay taxes on your behalf.

With our Preferred Partnership the owners of the 2nd Street Lofts will keep 80% of every rental dollar collected for their unit making the ROI on these condos attractive to our Owners “Bottom Line”.

As an additional benefit to all owners whether you choose to rent your condo or not, we will collect a 1% 2nd Street Lofts Amenity Fee from each rental guest. These funds will be donated from Whitefish Escapes to the 2nd Street Lofts Homeowners Association. This amenity fee paid by the rental guests will offset a major portion of the annual HOA dues for all Owners.
